Copycat Starbucks banana and walnut breakfast bread. Serve topped with salted butter!

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 176 degrees, gas mark 4.
Step 2
Add flour, baking soda and salt to a small bowl and set aside.
Step 3
Mix egg, sugar and oil in a mixing bowl and stir until well combined
Step 4
Add the dry ingredients to the wet and stir well. The mixture will be thick and dry like a crumble/dough.
Step 5
Next add milk, vanilla and bananas and stir well until incorporated.
Step 6
Mix in walnuts and pour into a loaf pan.
Step 7
Top with a few chopped nuts of your choice. Hazelnuts, Pecan and Walnut all work well.
Step 8
Cook for 40 mins then cover loosely with tin foil and cook for a further 25-35 mins, checking regularly until a knife comes out clean.
Step 9
Allow to cool completely before serving.
