This is a simple 4.5L (1-Gallon) Turbo Cider recipe, using simple ingredients you can purchase from the supermarket and very basic equipment.

Brew Day
Step 1
Add 300ml Apple Juice to saucepan, begin to heat. Stir in 300g Sugar and 2 tea bags. Simmer for 15 mins

Add 2-3L Apple Juice to fermenter and shake

Add nutrient tea (step 1) to fermenter and top up to the 4.5L level of fermenter

Pitch 3g yeast into fermenter and shake to kix

Add airlock
Fermentation 2-4 weeks
Step 6
Leave in a warm dark place and allow Cider to ferment for at least 2 weeks.
Secondary - Bottling and Flavouring

Option 1 - Dry Cider - add to bottles, ready to drink immediately

Option 2 - Sweet Cider - add non-fermentable sugar to taste. Add to bottles, ready to drink immediately
Step 9
Option 3 - Carbonated - Add 1 teaspoon sugar (priming sugar or table sugar) to each bottle for carbonation. Seal / Cap bottle and store in a warm dark place for 7-14 days. Move to fridge prior to drinking.
Step 10
Option 4 - Sweet and Carbonated - add non-fermentable sugar to taste to create desired level of sweetness. Add 1 teaspoon sugar (priming sugar or table sugar) to each bottle for carbonation. Seal / Cap bottle and store in a warm dark place for 7-14 days. Move to fridge prior to drinking.
