Instructions

Step 1
Add the olive oil to a large soup pot and heat it until ready. Add diced onion and cook for about 5 minutes. Add the ground beef and cook until done. Add the chili powder, cumin, sugar, tomato paste, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined. Add the broth and diced tomatoes undrained, drained beans, and tomato sauce. Stir well. Bring the liquid to a low boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 20-25 minutes uncovered. Stir often. Remove from heat and let sit for 5-10 minutes. Enjoy!
