Instructions
Step 1
Chop walnuts: 6 seconds, speed 6.
Step 2
Save walnuts and chop carrots: 10 seconds, speed 6.
Step 3
Save carrots and add the butterfly. Mix the brown sugar with the olive oil: 1 minute, speed 2.
Step 4
Add two eggs and mix: 3 minutes, speed 3.
Step 5
Preheat the oven at 180 ºC.
Step 6
Add the sifted flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix: 4 minutes, speed 1.
Step 7
Add the saved carrots. Mix: 30 seconds, speed 1.
Step 8
Add the saved walnuts and a pinch of salt. Mix: 30 seconds, speed 1.
Step 9
Heat in the oven for 25 minutes. At that point cover with aluminum paper.
Step 10
Check every 5/10 minutes if the cake is completely baked (If you insert a knife into the center of the cake, it should come out clean). In my oven it took 15 minutes.
Step 11
Leave it 5 extra minutes uncovered for extra crust.
Step 12
Unmold and let it cool.
