Instructions
Step 1
Mix flour, salt and spice together in bowl.
Step 2
Add fat (butter, margarine, etc) to dry ingredients and divide into small pieces with a knife.
Step 3
Rub fat and flour between fingertips until mixture looks like fine breadcrumbs, the stir in sugar and fruit.
Step 4
Make a well in the center of the dry mixture and add beaten egg and enough liquid to bind to a stuff paste with a fork.
Step 5
Put on a greased baking sheet in rocky heaps and bake for 15 mins on 180°C (fan assisted), 200°C regular.
