Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease two baking pans.

Step 2
Combine the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.



Step 3
In a large bowl, beat together the brown sugar, vegetable shortening, peanut butter, and eggs. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. The dough will be very soft.




Step 4
Make spoonfuls into balls and place 1 1/2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
Step 5
Flatten each cookie with a fork in a crisscross pattern on top.
Step 6
Bake 5 to 8 minutes until lightly colored. Transfer to wire racks to cool.
