Instructions
Step 1
Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel and Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a pan until simmering, but not smoking.
Step 3
Add the garlic and cayenne peppers, then cook over medium heat for about a minute or until the garlic becomes golden.
Step 4
Add the shrimp to the pan in a single layer, tossing regularly until the shrimp turns pink. Remove from heat.
Step 5
Stir in the sherry and a handful of fresh parsley.
Step 6
Transfer into bowls and serve with a slice of crusty bread.
