Topped with a trademark Hershey’s Kiss, but you could swap it out for a little peanut butter cup if you’re all about that peanut butter flavour.
If you don’t have enough Kisses, just bake these off a plain peanut butter cookies as well. The options are endless!

Step 1
1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

2. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment or with a hand mixer and large bowl, beat the butter and peanut butter, till smooth.

3. Add in the sugars and vanilla. Beat again on medium speed until well combined, about 1 minute. Don’t forget to scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula a few times to make sure everything is incorporated

4. Add the egg and milk and beat again until incorporated, about 30 seconds to a minute more.

5. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix on low speed until just combined, scraping the sides of the bowl as necessary.

6. Refrigerate the dough for about 1 hour, or upto 3 days.

7. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350°F and set an oven rack in the middle position. Also, place the unwrapped kisses in the freezer.

8. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

9. Place about 1/3 cup granulated sugar in a small bowl for rolling.

10. Roll the dough into tablespoon-size balls, then roll in the granulated sugar.

11. Place 3 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet and bake until puffed 5 to 8 minutes.

12. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and grab your chilled Kisses from the freezer.
Step 13
13. Lightly press a Hershey's kiss into the center of each cookie, the dough will crack slightly giving it that classic look.

14. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely and enjoy!
