Instructions

Step 1
Fry the bacon cubes in a non-stick pan without fat for about 4 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the carrots into strings with a vegetable peeler. Add the passata and the fresh peas to the bacon cubes, stir and place the carrot strips on top. Put a lid on the pan and let it stew for a few minutes until the carrots are al dente. Stir everything gently.

TIP: FRESH PEAS OR FROZEN PEAS

Fresh peas are of course super, but you will only find them in the spring. Fortunately, frozen peas are a perfect alternative. The advantage of frozen peas is that they are already blanched and you only have to heat them up at the end. It is best to let fresh peas cook for about 4 minutes.
