Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Line a metal 8 by 8-inch pan with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 3
Add 5 Tablespoons butter and 1 1/4 Cups sugar to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for about 1 minute, or until the butter is melted.
Step 4
Whisk 2 eggs, 1 egg yolk and 1 Teaspoon vanilla into the butter-sugar mixture.
Step 5
Add 1/3 Cup vegetable oil and 3/4 Cup cocoa powder.
Step 6
With rubber spatula, stir in 1/2 Cup flour, 1/8 Teaspoon baking soda, 1 Tablespoon cornstarch, and 1/4 teaspoon salt until combined.
Step 7
Add 3/4 Cup chocolate chips
Step 8
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the brownies are set and toothpick inserted into center has moist crumbs attached. Do not overcook.
Step 9
Let Brownies cool completely before cutting and serving. (as if)
