Liquid diet suggestions?

Hi all! Love the recipes in the group, very inspirational, and I do hope more will follow soon (I'll add to the pile as well :-) ). I have just had a gastric sleeve operation, and I'm still stuck on a liquid diet for the coming two weeks. Does anyone have some good ideas to get creative with something that's still pretty much liquid? I'm having a really hard time getting further than blendered soups, oatmeal, and yogurt. I'd love to have something that tastes like actual food again :) Even if I have to put a blender to it.

Hey, I hope your recovery is doing well! I'm a dietitian, and as long as you don't have any other complications with the following maybe you could try exploring mashed potato + chicken/pork/beef, you can either puree them together or you can keep the mashed potato as it is, then just put a roast pork, chicken or beef (fillet or just the meat) in the blender and eat it together with the mashed potato. Just make sure the consistency is smooth, and there are no lumps or solids. thought my next suggestion isn't exactly a meal, you can maybe consider hummus too since that's already smooth and pureed. Other suggestions would also include, You trying custards, flavored gelatin (like Jell-O). It would also be nice to explore some smoothies, just as long as it's strained and there are no solids :) you can also be creative an combine some of them like, a fruit juice or a fruit of your choice + yogurt as smoothie ingredients. hope that helps! :)

Thank you, Bea! Those are some excellent suggestions, I especially like the hummus idea, I mis having some 'real' flavors.
