No rolled oats?

Hey guys, i am trying to make some apple crumble, i have no rolled oats. Can i sub it for more flour or intant oats (powder as well i guess)? Thanks

I have done it with Instant before and the only difference was that the crumble was a bit softer... To be honest no one noticed 🤷🏼‍♀️ and it was just as good..

My Mum used to make hers without. She made it with brown sugar on top.

i think a streusel topping is pretty similar to crumble (i'm british and we don't rly do streusel), it might be close enough! i'm unsure on instant oats

We have made it with instant oats, and honestly, it works just as well. ☺️
