Could you make the dough in a bread machine until the step when you roll out the dough?

Yes, some bread machines are now programmable and you can let it work and rest your dough and will stop so you can remove it from the pan so you can shape and bake it in your own oven.

I do this all the time with a lot of recipes using yeast....someday I'm too lazy to drag out the mixer...lol
