There's many things to substitute for brown sugar, but some of them may not be things that you have around either. Adding molasses to white sugar makes the closest replacement, but you can also use pure maple syrup with sugar. 1 tablespoon to one cup sugar. Coconut sugar can be used in a one for one replacement, but you may want to add some butter or oil for moisture, as it is dryer.
You can use liquid sweeteners like honey, agave, or maple syrup in a ratio of 2/3 cup liquid sweetener for 1 cup brown sugar. But, depending on the recipe, this is also likely to require additional adjustments.
Raw sugars like turbinado or demerara can be used in a 1 to 1 ratio, but you may want to grind the crystals or melt it so it blends in well.

Wow! Thank you for that! Lots of options there. I only have honey so it'll have to do. Happy Holidays!!
