What is traditional African food?

Davy Desh
By “African food”, what country(s) (Kenya 🇰🇪? Tanzania 🇹🇿? Morocco 🇲🇦? Etc.)? What region(s) (East Africa?? West Africa? North Africa? Southern Africa? Central Africa?)?? Africa is a continent of over 60 countries that are completely different from each other, in culture…There is no one “African food”… …To say “African food” is like saying “North American food, even though we all know that the cuisines United States 🇺🇸 (and its territories), Canada 🇨🇦, and Mexico 🇲🇽 are quite different from each other.

Im only familiar with Piri piri chicken; and my mom actually makes Doro Wat stew that she learned to cook in Ethiopia 🍗 are there any other connoisseurs of African cuisine with some more info?

I don’t know that much about the different cuisines of Africa’s over 60 distinct countries. However, jollof—similar to Indian Biryani and New Orleans Jambalaya—is common across West Africa.
