Chicken Gnocchi?
I just added a chicken gnocchi recipe I'm going to try this week. Not the healthiest soup in the world so why did I add it?
Soups are amazing for post partum!
They're already warm and simple so very easy for your body to digest. Your body is already working overtime to heal and for many to breast feed so we need to help it out with food that's easy on it! Lots of the ingredients are great too.
Broth is an essential in my house for recovery. My doula sister makes her own and I swear I can feel my body heal when I drink it. So good for postpartum. Plus chicken for protein, your veggies which are cooked and easy for your body. Spinach in particular has so many needed health benefits for both postpartum and pregnancy! If this recipe turns out ok it's going on my rotation for the rest of this pregnancy and postpartum!
