Can cashew flour be substituted instead of blending it, and if so, what ratio?

The flour will not add the same texture. Blending raw whole cashews adds fat to give it a creamy mouthfeel.

Hey Dustin, I believe that they can be used interchangeably in 1:1 ratio. The only difference between blending cashew to a powder and using cashew flour is the coarseness of the grind, first one being a bit coarser, whereas cashew flour is fine and more suitable when preparing cakes or for thickening soups. Let me know how it worked out in this recipe :)
