What's the simplest macaroon recipe
I want to make some but I've never made them before and i don't want to pick a difficult one as my first.

The shell for the caramel macarons is the simplest!! It doesn’t have any extra food coloring or extracts added that can effect the batter. But you could then use that shell with any of the fillings that you want!
