I have lost 33 pounds since January 2021 using loseit! and I couldn't be happier with my progress. i have been using whisk at the same time, and it has helped me out think more outside the box with what is healthy - it's not all salads!!

It's good to hear about your progress! I am thinking of starting with my journey sometime soon too. It's the healthy eating part that makes me think twice as I am not a salad person but as you've mentioned, this community is not limited to salads. I see some yummy recipes as well.

Hi! I'm totally new to LoseIt and counting calories. I'm hoping to lose some pounds and over all get healthy. We have 7 children, so finding recipes that won't break the bank, and also have time to make,, that are low calorie/healthy eating can be a huge struggle when being a large family. We do grow/raise as much of our food as possible but that also limits us to even less recipes it feels like.

Welcome Nicole! You certainly have some challenges with the large family and the time constraints. Hopefully the group can offer some ideas to help you kick start your LoseIt! journey. Feel free to add any healthy recipes into the group. If I could recommend any recipe to you, it would be ratatoullie. Cheap and healthy. You can make HUGE batch's of it and freeze it. My parents made enough for a few months one year. On a separate note: If you haven't already, maybe consider getting an instantpot and join the instant pot group on whisk. They have some great time saving recipes for large families. I tend not to put instantpot recipes on here just because not everyone has one.

Welcome Jen 👋😄! Welcome to Loseit and Whisk :) Hopefully we can build up your confidence and introduce you to lot of new healthy recipes. I think I post recipes most people can have a stab at, but don't be shy in joining communities on the app. I have joined "30 minutes or less" "everyday healthy" "10 ingredients or less" etc. Here is a simple recipe to get you started. You can freeze it too. 👍

Hello! I’m fairly new to LoseIt! I’m looking for simple quick recipes that don’t require weird or hard to get ingredients. Cooking is my least fave thing to do cuz idk what to cook and only trust myself with basic recipes. Maybe this will help me get out of my box. Thanks for having me.
