Hey, do you guys have any tips on how to cook more efficiently and not waste a lot of time?

One of my favorite hacks when cooking pasta or grains like farro or quinoa is to use the end of the cooking/boiling time to throw in the vegetables! I’ll put in broccoli, kale, or spinach towards the end of the cooking time. Saves a pot and some time! I’m less of a strict meal planner (though I would like to be!) but one thing I try to do when I make freezable things is to make extra or freeze meals for the future (currently I have frozen pizza dough, dumplings, and pesto!)

I would look at the recipe and see if it involves a lot of "complex" steps. So things that usually require you to take things out of the pan often I don't cook unless I have time. I try to stick to the one pot/dish recipes because of this. Also, while prepping a recipe take out everything you need for the recipe prior to starting

I love using frozen products as well. I am currently using frozen garlic, avocado, coriander, basil and frozen fruits.

Awesome hack @Dana, I must try it one day. @Flour shower I often choose dishes that are cooked in the oven so I don't have to spend a lot of time hovering over the pan.

Prep your food as much as you can beforehand. It’ll make it easier.
