I'd use garlic (fresh or powder), onion powder, pepper, red chili pepper flakes, a dash of salt and maybe an Umami seasoning.

A clove of fresh garlic and Fresno pepper would be nice. I would mince them both and brown them at low-med hear on a skillet in some extra virgin olive oil or butter (whatever fat is most compatible with the rest of your dish) before adding them to your sauce. Start with the pepper as it will take longer than the garlic. If you like the heat, don’t toss the seeds.
