Hi, I want to make a dessert but I am not sure which sweetener is ok use. Any suggestions? Recipe suggestions are welcome too.

honey or maple syrup are preferred sweeteners on the Mediterranean Diet. The only zero calorie sweetener that is acceptable is pure Stevia extract (check ingredients list to make sure there's nothing else added). There are lots of dessert recipes out there using just bananas as sweetener.

I have this question too! I tried monkfruit in the past, but I didn't like it

Honey is a great go to. Also, if that won't work for you go with sugar and make smaller portions.

xylitol and erithritrol are good fool-ya sugar substitutes
