Flavours great and makes large portions for 4. Found the instructions didn’t work for me. I sliced the onions thinly with a mandoline and they didn’t need the extra 15 mins with water - just fried them for 7. The fennel needed much longer at least 30 mins! I also cooked pastry case longer too about extra 10 mins. I prepared and cooked all veg and case then left final baking until eating time - worked well served with a salad. Felt it was slightly dry and will use this mix of ingredients in a pastry case again but not this exact recipe as it is .
