**for those with a nut allergy, top with toasted panko crumbs or crushed up toasted butter crackers that have been toasted in butter.
1 4 ounce can of Underwood Chicken Spread
2 8 ounce packages of cream cheese, softened
1 12.5 ounce can of chicken breast, drained
1/2 cup chopped, salted and roasted pecans
1 tablespoon of dried parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of celery salt
1/4 teaspoon of paprika
black pepper to taste
Instructions
I recommend using a hand or stand mixer so yiou can really whip this. Add the cream cheese and whip until light and fluffy.
Add the can of the underwood chicken spread, the drained, canned chicken and all the seasonings and herbs.
Beat on high for about 5 minutes, or until lighter and fluffier than it was.
Taste and adjust seasonings.
Add to a bowl and top with the chopped pecans and some more dried parsley and a sprinkle of paprika for color.
Serve with butter round crackers or chicken in a biscuit crackers.
