Definitely dark chocolate flavor. I liked it, but other people thought it was a bit bitter/ not sweet enough. I will be making this again especially since it's so quick and easy.
It's a great post workout snack, toast topping, fruit, cookie or cracker dip, sandwich spread, and just eaten straight. I rolled some into balls with pecans mixed in. Subbed the maple syrup for honey. Maybe add dried fruit, chocolate chips, nuts, oats, or jelly.
