Sorry to hear that. The secret to this cookie is not to overcook it. It has to be almost molten in the center, and crunchy on the outside. Otherwise, it can be a dry, bulky cookie. I learnt to make these because Levaine’s bakery charges $30 plus s&h per half dozen! 😇

We have Lavaine bakery near us. $5.00 a cookie. If you follow the recipe exactly, they are great. And indistinguishable from the stores.
