okay so it took 3 hotcakes until one finally looked the right colour so def needs some practice before getting it right, but itâs super delicious! I put a little cinnamon and vainilla too to get more flavour since it just tastes kinda like sweetened bread, and both the texture, look and taste is like mexicoâs âgorditas de nataâ, which I find so curious! better than regular hotcakes, soso fluffy even though I didnât add as much baking powder as the recipe instructed (it seemed like too much, I put 8g in) they kinda varied in size but it made 2 pretty big ones, 1 small and 3 medium ones, at first I was regretting my desicion to double it but I think it made just enough this time,, wouldnât make it on the daily tho, def only special occasions because it took like an hourđ
apart from that, loved the recipe! thank you!
ps. for them not to be raw and not break while flipping (happened to my first hotcake), make sure until itâs very bubbly on top and looks kinda like a brain and flip it. follow the instructions abt the low heat, the moist towel and the oil napkin, they really make a big difference.
