Im a first time baker / I’ve never actually made a cake from scratch. This turned out excellent.. I don’t like mascarpone - so I subbed it for cream cheese (exact same recipe listed just light cream cheese) and it was wonderful. Excited to try it, but the scraps were delicious. Certainly not beginner friendly, but it was a good challenge!
