I always recommend using a scale for precision! That being said, a cup is generally 120g if measured properly so it should be just over four cups (like four cups plus a tablespoon plus a teaspoon to be precise…but that’s only if the flour is measured in cup correctly 😅)
You can totally double or triple, I do it all the time. I’d not bake more than two in one tray at a time (use a half sheet pan). If tripling the recipe then just cut about a third off after it’s rest overnight and proof/bake that in separate tray and the additional two batches in one larger tray. Hope that makes sense!

Hahah! That makes more sense. My bread fills the pan, but is never as thick as yours, so adding almost another cup (+tsp) of bread flour would most certainly change that!

In the meantime before scale just make sure you’re fluffing your flour first and spooning it into cup before levelling it off. If you dip the cup directly into the flour it can pack it in densely and add like 30/40g more per cup!
