Don’t be afraid of seasoning, the more the better- reason being is that you have noodles to flavor and flavor for the chicken to absorb.
I used 4 cups of water and 2 cups of veggie stock- it all was a great amount of liquid that went into everything- just wish I had a chicken bouillon or chicken stock to make the chicken be a bit more louder in flavor.
The dish was homey and I believe as beautiful for a holiday dish or as comfy as needed if you’re sick.
I will be making this again. I did want to try using boneless chicken breasts or boneless chicken thighs - the whole chicken was a great experience and wonderful- just be careful of bones. As well I would like to find other seasonings that matched well with the tarragon to coordinate with this dish.
