The top of the bread was nice to eat but the insides were quite gummy and dense even though i thoroughly followed the recipe. I saw some recipes said that i have to knead it but following this recipe i just folded it. Can anyone help me? I’d love to try it again and succeed.

it seems too thick, i made it in a deeper dish once and it turned out like this. i would suggest placing the dough in a larger cooking tray so it can spread out and get crispier. the inside should still be fluffy and soft but overall its much better when it is thinner
