The filling was nice and tasty but a little dry. Maybe my fault though. Had to make twice the amount of pastry in the recipe and was a bit confused because the instruction to make a round of pastry and fold it over would be more of a pocket or pastie, not a pie which has a filled base and usually a separate lid. Happy with the result though, nice pie.
