So, I added this soup to the list as I have made it several times before with a different recipe. However, I added this version of the recipe before my family could try the original from Olive Garden. Before I got around to making this recipe, they got to try the original and did not care for it as they didn't like the gnocchi in the soup.
So I ended up making the soup for myself, and I love both versions, the original and this one.
Instead of buying the carrots, onions, and celery separately, I did the trinity and bought them prepped and mixed together already. I know, not like the original, but the same flavors were there. I also agreed with one of the comments as it needed nutmeg or another spice something seemed a little different.
When I was done cooking, I made me a bowl, and it tasted very good, but Gnocchi needed a little bit more time to cook, so I turned it down, and what do you know I fell asleep and burnt the soup! Ugh, just my luck. I ate the majority of the soup but couldn't get past the burnt aftertaste, so I will be making this again and hopefully not burning it.
