First time making baguettes! (but not first time baking bread) Soft and fluffy inside with great flavor, not as chewy or crusty as a bakery-bought baguette but delicious nonetheless — plus, they’ll make great sandwiches that won’t destroy the roof of your mouth! Tips: proofed for 12hrs in the fridge (3-4C) before shaping; watched a couple baguette shaping videos on YouTube for technique; placed a pan of water in the bottom of the oven while preheating & baking to create steam; shaped and proofed on counter for 15-20 mins while oven was preheating.
