I feel like the pasta-to-sauce ratio was all wrong, depending on what you got in each bite. Sauce tasted a bit thin and lifeless, but I had run out of carrots and celery so maybe they would have helped. If I tried to make this again, I'd use some beef broth, or more tomato paste, or more spices. But i don't think I'll try again. I don't think gnocchi and Bolognese are a good pairing

From my experience making it the carrots and celery are necessary. I also make my own Italian seasoning mix so that might have helped too. If anything for us it was too spicy because of the amount of red pepper flakes
