Made this for dinner tonight and left out celery (I’m allergic) and thyme (teen hates it) and the teen was not impressed. Said it was bland and soupy, not a thicker stew he was hoping for. He said it smells delicious though. Won’t make again.

Perhaps next time use vegeta adds heaps of flavour

I used potatoes, carrots, onion and fresh garlic. Just not the called for celery since I’m allergic to it. This is a close up pic of a small portion. The recipe didn’t call for other veggies and I follow recipes as close as possible for the first go around. Unfortunately, other veggies will not help this and I’m sure there is a much better recipe out there.
