So I have made fried chicken before, but sometimes, like to try new recipes to see if the flavors are better or if there is something new I can learn from a recipe. I prep the chicken using drumsticks and small chicken breast, which I trimmed the skin back a little. Then marinated them all day in homemade buttermilk mixture. I chose to fry the chicken and then, for added measure, pop them in my air fryer to make sure they were cooked through and it kept them warm while I finished up the side dishes.
Let me tell you this meal was a huge success and big hit with everyone.
