Rarely do I find a recipe to be as quick to make as advertised, but this one passes the test. Such a great dish to make when you've got a few hungry people waiting for dinner, and tastes fabulous! I'm sure that's got something to do with the cream and butter ๐ I used whipping cream (UK) and vegetable stock (we were out of wine). The only change I made to the method was making a thin paste with the flour in cold water before adding it to the pan, because I always manage to make a clumpy sauce if I add dry flour straight in. Also worth noting, to feed four adults (two of whom being well over 6ft tall), I made a double batch which is apparently eight servings. There were no leftovers ๐
Will definitely make this again, as the taste to effort ratio was so high. Goes great with seafood and green veggies.
