We really liked this! My husband likes milky, thinner oatmeal, but I prefer it less milky and thicker. We made the milk/water ratio 3:1 instead of 2:1 and hubby added warm milk at serving!
We also watch our sodium so we reduced the salt to just a pinch and used just a pinch of ground nutmeg. Served with a light sprinkling of brown sugar, our homegrown chopped pecans, and a cup of freshly roasted coffee on the side...mmm!
