ADDICTIVE GRANOLA ☠️
This is ridiculously tasty. I followed the recipe exactly as directed. Used honey and rapeseed oil. My cup of nuts was a mix of hazelnuts, brazils, and pumpkin seeds. My dried fruit was Banana chips, mixed through at the end of baking.
The key to big clusters was taking the granola out of the oven after 20 mins as directed, even though it was still very soft at this point. I didn't mix halfway through baking, just turned the tray. After mixing in the banana chips, I used a wooden spoon to press the mixture down into the still-hot baking tray, then left alone to cool completely.
It's so delicious. The addition of salt makes a huge difference in comparison to other granola recipes I've tried. It's like a delicious flapjack in crumbly form.
