← Replies in DIY Popeyes Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich Recipe

Was expecting more out of this recipe. I made this as my hubby LOVES Popeyes and so I was hoping to bring the taste of Popeyes home. I had to make the chicken breast in the oven as I didn't have oil to fry the chicken breast and unfortunately the breading stuck to the aluminum foil which made it more of a grilled chicken breast sandwich. The sauce was also nothing too great. Hubby said it was way too spicy and he can usually handle a bit of spice.
