Delicious!!! We use roaster ovens and turkey bags and this is the best turkey we have ever had. Made for the first time in 2022. Repeated for 2023!
In 22 we made gravy with the drippings and it was too sweet with mashed potatoes. Take the giblets, etc and extra herbs and make a gravy separate. For a 15 lb turkey and 2 6 lb turkey breasts We bought 3 little .5 oz plastic containers of rosemary, thyme, and sage...2 would have been plenty of rosemary and thyme but sage we used all 3.
We did 1.5x the herb butter recipe and that was perfect.
Cook time was 3.5 hours! Next time start the Crock-Pot potatoes first!
