Not very pretty but super easy and kid-friendly. I glanced at the heating instructions and just eyeballed the ingredients instead of measuring.
My version: Tear apart biscuit dough pieces instead of dirtying a knife and cutting board. Mix up whatever cheese you like (mozzarella and parmesan for me), olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and add marinara or spaghetti sauce in your baking dish with the biscuit dough pieces. Toss until mixed up sufficiently and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Take out and sprinkle with more cheese and broil for two more minutes. Eat the best crusty bits from the top of the dish while making plates for the kids. (Pic is from after I stirred up the pan contents and started serving to the family.)
