Didn't have any carrots, so I added diced tomatoes. Used half beef and half venison. I added some extra garlic, salt, and pepper. Cut the Thyme in half because we aren't big fans of it. The meat was nice and tender and potatoes were perfectly done. I used russets. Served with some warm bread on the side. Perfect for a cold evening. Note to self: completely omit Thyme and use other seasonings next time.
