I didn't have cilantro, so I used a teaspoon each of oregano and dill. I did add a bit of extra minced garlic. We put cut-up squash on the kabobs, too. The flavor is delicious, but the heat kicked our butts. Next time, I'll cut the turmeric, ginger, and cumin in half to see if that helps the heat issue. As is, it's a bit too spicy for us. But I will try again. My old man is going to try mixing it into fried rice tomorrow to see if that will bring the heat down to our manageable level. Honey was tried and it was decided that it would take too much to cut the spicy.
