I hate to be one of the, "I made it but changed everything," people, but I forgot to thaw the ground beef, so I used mild italian sausage, instead. I also added carrots and celery in with the onions (out of habit), an diced up a couple sweet potatoes and added them, as well.
It was delicious-- it is definitely a recipe that can be altered pretty easily to match whatever you have on hand. Super easy, will definitely be a go-to when we want something filling and comforting on a cold night!
