I was skeptical at first pass, but we added some garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and put it back in the oven at 375 for 7 minutes and it was much improved! Crispier and meltier and more flavor. We used only half the butter since a whole stick seemed excessive. We also didn’t have poppy seeds so used sesame seeds instead. You can see we had already sampled the bread when the picture was taken.
