Definitely my favorite cinnamon roll recipe. Make it by using the weights, not volumes. I’ve used plain unsweetened kefir instead of buttermilk and the results are still perfect. Dough is very easy to handle, just the right amount of sweetness for enriched role.
The icing is okay (I make 1.5x the recipe because imo the original recipe is a little skimpy.). The copycat Cinnabon recipe that uses a touch of lemon juice is better, I think.
