← Replies in Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake Recipe

This is sooo good! It's not the easiest or quickest recipe but it's worth it all! I thought it was going to be to sweet, so instead of making the frosting I used a lightly sweeten whip cream. Although, I might make the frosting next time because the cheesecake wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be. I would recommend making this at least once.

What type of cinnamon did you use? I learned through natural remedies for diabetes research that they're are two general types. Saigon, usual on the shelf at the grocery as Cinnamon. And Ceylon Cinnamon, available at spice stores and online. The ceylon is less spicy than Saigon, but has a different body, plus GI properties to help stabilize blood sugar (as part of a diet. Obviously, cheesecake isn't going to cure diabetes... or? Anyway, food for thought. You can steer the flavor profile a bit with that change if you like to tweak your recipes.

I used Kroger's brand of cinnamon. So Saigon I guess? I might try a more fancy brand of cinnamon next time lol.

Type, but brand. Like red grapes or green... But yes, the flavor difference is amazing...
