Second time I made it and it was delicious. I used double the chicken broth and half the cheese and only one cup of half & half. And 3 cloves of garlic. I added onion powder and Cajun seasoning. It was very much like the Panera soup. I like to leave it simmering or in a slow cooker. The veggies could get overcooked this way. Next time I will add them and let them simmer for the last 15- 20 min or so. As a note this takes longer than 30 min if you include the prep time. The basic recipe made 3 large bowls. Will double if leftovers are wanted.
